Regular: Tick if you wish the regular files to be returned.

Output Path: The path you would like Envoy to download your results locally.

Credits Budget: Specify the maximum number of credits you wish to assign to a submission.  If that  number is reached, "budget action" will be triggered.

how to submit your Cinema 4D project to GridMarkets render cloud

Project Name: The name of the GridMarkets cloud project folder to which your project uploaded to. This folder is defaulted to name of your project. If you specify a project name that has already been uploaded, then your submission will use that existing project folder. Tick box to the right to override. (Optional)

Scene File: The file path of the scene to submit.

Submission Name: The name of your submission that will appear in the Envoy render manager - defaulted to the name of your scene file. Tick the box to the right to override. (Optional)

Product Version : Select the Cinema 4D version that you wish to run. It will default is the version from which you are submitting.

Submission Comment: Add any additional comments if required. (Optional)

Frame Ranges: The frame range(s) to render in the format: start end step. Note: You can enter multiple frame ranges start end with different steps. Tick the box to the right to override. (Optional)

Resolution: Height and width in pixels of the output, defaulted to the scene settings. Tick the left box to change. Untick the right box to reset to the scene defaults. (Optional)

Output Path: The path that Envoy will download your results to locally. Note: No file extension is required. Update your local output folder by ticking box to the right. 

The format name should be like:

renders_folder/image_sequence_name_

Output Format: Output file type defaulted to scene setting. Tick the left box to change. Untick the right box to reset to the scene default. (Optional)

Take: Name of the take from your scene.

Renderer: The render engine to be used.

Job Name : Name of your job that will appear in the Envoy render manager, defaulted to the Take and Renderer. Tick the box to the right to override. (Optional)

Multi-pass Prefix : Tick left box to  add multi-pass renders in the format: multipass_folder_name/image_sequence_name

Tick the right box to reset to the scene default. (Optional)

Multi-pass Format : Muli-pass output file format, defaulted to scene settings. Tick the left box to change. Untick the right box to reset to the scene default. (Optional)

Machine Type: The type of machine you would like to use, defaulted to what you have selected for GPU Render or CPU Render in the Envoy profile page.

Credits Budget: Tick the left box to specify the maximum number of credits you wish to assign to a submission.  If that  number is reached, budget action will be triggered. (Optional)

Credits Budget Action: Specify the maximum number of credits you wish to assign to a submission.  Once the job has used the credit amount, the Credit Budget Action will be triggered. The options are:

Alert: You will receive an email warning.

Stop: The job and any frames in progress will be stopped.

Suspend: Any running frames will finish rendering, but no queued frames will start.

Max Machine Count: The number of machines used to render the job. Use Portal Settings is the default number of machines per job in your Envoy Profile Settings. Untick the right box to reset to scene default. (Optional)

Require Windows :  Select if you are using V-Ray, or the Insydium or Greyscalegorilla plugins. These only work on Windows.

Welcome to GridMarkets Cinema4D Set Up and Submission. Ensure you have installed the Cinema4D plugin from Envoy. Please see the Envoy tutorial in GridMarkets dot com, forward slash envoy for instructions. Make sure to restart Cinema4D after installing the GridMarkets plugin. Make sure all your Cinema4D scene Render and Output Settings are correct. Select the GridMarkets tab in the menu bar to open the GridMarkets Plugin. The Submit2GM window opens with all your render settings ready to check before you submit your render to GridMarkets. This is where you can override some of your settings in your Cinema4D Scene. NOTE. ALL other Render settings will be taken from your scene. You will need to update the Output Path settings to a folder your image sequence will render to, and the image sequence file name with no file type extension. Tick the box on the right of the Output Path to change it. Example Output Path Name required. Renders_Folder/image_sequence_name_v01. The hit the Submit button. The GridMarkets Preflight window will open to show the Cinema4D scene file and all supporting files that will be uploaded. Hit the Upload and Submit button. You will get a notification that the Project upload has started. Press OK. Go to Envoy to see the upload and render submission status. Thanks for watching.
